![]() The sky between the rocks is more purple than blue and the raspberries are dark, almost brown-red. The printout on Canon Semi-Gloss is terrible. It is a little darker than my monitor, but the colors seem true. The printout on Kirkland paper is acceptable. I switched to Kirkland Professional Glossy Photo Paper since I have a lot of this and I only have the free box of Canon 13X19 Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss. I am running on a Windows 7 machine (waiting for Windows 10). I printed directly from Elements, using the PC profiles. It actually looks a little cooler on my screen than other versions but not strikingly different. I downloaded their updated printer evaluation page. I have both DataColor and Xrite profilers and the Xrite ones do a better job. The Spyder is fine, but the Xrite ColorMunki Photo is better and around the same price. The print should look extremely good, if it doesn't then something else is wrong. Don't use "Canon Print Studio Pro", just print wih the PC ICC profile PS Elements. Datacolor have a special price on the SpyderSTUDIO Color Calibration Bundle for $449. I am using clean cartridges from Precision Colors, so there should be no issues with mixing Canon and PC inks. Y -40 looks better on the printout, but the image in Print Studio looks bluish, so any sort of color tweaking is impossible. I can reduce the cast using the color adjustments in Canon Print Studio Pro, but they still don't look 'right'.
